History || Jason was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina and was the oldest child of Philip and Sarah Stone. He was an active boy while growing up and would always be found with her best friend on the family family. He learned how to shoot, how to ride a horse and how to have a great work ethic. When his sister was born, Jason was determined to keep her safe, and keep her protected. He was always one to make sure that his family would be safe no matter what. Their parents had a lot of dreams for their children, but whose dreams would change when Jason graduated high school and joined the army. He wasn't going to let anyone stop him from defending his country, and protecting his family. His sister didn't understand why he wanted to do so, but he did, and he continued to write and call and make sure his family would be okay.
After being in the army for 5 years, he was finally able to start having a life. But when he had visited Grand Rapids while he was in the army, he fell in love with the state of Michigan, with the different scenery. Jason left his home and made the decision to move to Michigan and allowed himself fall in love. He met Heather while she was working as a nurse at the hospital and it wasn't long until they got engaged. That was before the end of the world happened. 
Jason and Heather were visiting in her family in New York when things went wrong but she had a sister in Michigan that she didn't want to lose. Traveling together through all kinds of elements they finally reached Michigan only to find it was left in ruins. There was no sign of her sister, no sign of anyone really. It took them months before they could make it back to Grand Rapids and there could have been hundreds of things that could have happened while they were going there. One night, while Jason and Heather were with a group of others, there was an attack resulting in Jason losing the love of his life, and another member of the small group that had been formed. 
They couldn't stop, or just give up and that moment, even if it took Jason all his power to just keep moving. He didn't know how to live without Heather and now that he didn't have her, he needed find her sister. 

Having gotten wind of a community build by the military in North Michigan, the group decided that it was time to head up there. That was 4 months ago. Jason had taken lead in the security of the community, but he couldn't shake the feeling of needing to find his sister and father. Since his mother had passed while he was overseas he knew that it couldn't be easy being out there all alone. 
Telling the leader of the safe zone his plans to leave changed a lot. He was looked up to at the community so him leaving was dangerous for them and worried them. But he got two of the members, who had come with him, to also leave with him. 
There was gossip going around that there had to be other safe zones around the country, there had to be other people out there so Jason and his two friends Samantha and Travis went on their way towards the east coast.

Months after leaving the safe zone, the three of them find themselves near the small town of Glenville in West Virginia where they decide its time to take a break and re-evalutate their mission. There were signs of a safe zone near by, a state over called Alexandria so there was hope. Jason thought that could be where his sister and father were. Or at least, it was a start to where they could be.
