It seemed to good to be true. Even after weeks of being within the walls of Alexandria. Rick couldn't believe they have gotten so lucky to have found this place. With all the hate in the world, there was so much take could be taken away. But people here, they lived in peace. They had something to live for, something to fight for. After the prison Rick didn't think it was possible to make it somewhere else.
Nightmares of what happened at the prison still haunt Rick, even with his group together and safe, there were so many that didn't make it. He couldn't get their faces out of his mind so as he walked out of his house he began to make rounds.
After meeting with Deanna and agreeing to being the constable of the community, he took on their lives and vowed to protect the people, but especially his own. He wouldn't let anything happen t them, not after what had happened at the prison.
Making his way down the street he greeted some of the neighbors as they waved to him. He needed to check on the gates, make sure everything was going according to plan there and nothing was sticking out too much. As he made his way to the front gate he looked to see who was up there patrolling.
